Nominator's project description
| Professor Tenorio-Trillo is one of the best-known historians of modern Mexico. His interests range from an innovative history of Mexico City to studies that put Mexico in broad transnational and global perspectives. His latest work deals with the continent at large, and reconstructs a history of the Idea of Latin America. In Germany, he will pursue a project on philology as one of the quintessential forms of knowledge production in the nineteenth century. |
